Vaccinations are one of the best and safest ways to prevent many serious viral and bacterial diseases and their consequences. Vaccination is particularly important for women of childbearing age, as it protects not only the mother but also the baby from infection.
Before a planned pregnancy, immunisation protection should be checked and renewed if necessary. Infection with a high-risk HPV is the main cause of almost all types of cervical cancer and its precursors.
Many parents and teenagers are now aware of the HPV vaccination for the prevention of cervical cancer. Ideally, this vaccination should be given to young girls and women before their first sexual intercourse in order to reduce the risk of developing the disease later on.
In our practice, we offer the following vaccinations to protect women and expectant mothers and children:
Preventive vaccinations for vaginal infections
Preventive vaccination for chronic urinary tract infections
HPV (human papillomavirus) vaccination
RSV
Diphtheria
Influenza
Whooping cough
Mumps
Rubella
Tetanus
Chickenpox
Measles
